Inclusive Education

1. A committee was constituted to devise out the list of Assistive Devices and TLM to be procured for all the 72 Resource Rooms in J&K. The committee included faculty from National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, Officer from Social Welfare Department, Coordinator-Inclusive Education and few Special Educators. The committee met thrice through online mode and shall submit the report in August, 2021.
2. List of suggestive Aids and Appliances to be provided to identified and enrolled CWSN (Children with Special Needs) were obtained from all the districts. Thereafter a committee has been constituted to review these lists for the purpose of final procurements.
3. All the districts were instructed to file online applications for UDID registrations of CWSN of their respective districts. More than 60% applications have been filed till date.
